Overview

The IT Analyst will work with the IT Team and internal and external partners to enable the organization through effective application evaluation, deployment and optimization.  The IT Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the mission and values of Heritage Christian Services, Inc.

Pay rate for this position:  $66923 / yr - $69106 / yr

 

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above range represents the organization's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting

Responsibilities

  • Act as IT expert for all applications utilized by the business
  • Assist with researching new applications, ensuring that business needs will be met and all due diligence is conducted
  • Lead the internal change approval process by collaborating with stakeholders, technical leads and various business leaders to ensure necessary due diligence and awareness of internal changes
  • Perform tasks related to application administration, including establishment of user roles, configurations, and no-code development
  • Work with third party application vendors to resolve system issues, stay on top of all releases, and advocate for the needs of the business
  • Communicate all relevant updates regarding application changes to the appropriate parties
  • Conduct data analysis in partnership with internal business analytics and data warehouse teams
  • Document IT applications, processes and procedures for future reference and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with business units to analyze and understand their processes and requirements
  • Propose and recommend solutions based on business needs and return on investment
  • Conduct trainings with end users and business leads on new application functionality
  • Assist in the prioritization of projects and work with leadership to maintain backlog
  • Contribute to IT policy and strategy based on best practices and industry standards
  • Coordinate internal IT initiatives by working with a cross-functional IT team and third parties on major system implementations, upgrades, and other initiatives that contribute to meeting goals of the IT department
  • Understand trends in IT technology and make recommendations based on compliance, business impact, and return on investment

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer systems analysis, computer science, computer information systems, management information systems or a similar field of study
  • Five years of experience in working as an analyst or consultant in a technical environment including three years working as a project lead or project manager
  • Excellent communication, organization, leadership, and collaboration skills are required
  • Creativity and out of box thinking, along with excellent problem solving skills
  • High degree of business acumen
  • Solid understanding of IT essentials, including infrastructure, security, data, and applications
