The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to employees of Heritage Christian Services.  These duties include but are not limited to: entering and maintaining information into multiple databases, office supply and toner supply purchasing, typing, filing, faxing, and backup to receptionist duties. To support the mission, vision and values of Heritage Christian Services.


  1. Timely entry of DDP2’s
  2. Documentation Maintenance
  3. Universal Needs List entry and maintenance
  4. Type, file and fax documents as needed
  5. Assist staff with administrative duties as requested
  6. Back up to receptionist; greet incoming visitors, answer phones, route calls, take messages, distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail
  7. Order office supplies and monitor inventory. Assist sites with ordering process.
  8. Order toner for all sites and programs
  9. Update and maintain mailing lists
  10. Produce mailing labels and mail merges as needed
  11. Help with special events as needed
  12. Assist with special projects
  13. Maintain appropriate interpersonal relationships with employees, peers, and individuals that choose services of Heritage Christian


  • Typing 50+ wpm
  • Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Multi line phone experience
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Personable and energetic with positive attitude
