  • Overview

    The position is responsible for the preparation of budgets and analytical reporting for the organization. To support the mission, vision, and values of Heritage Christian Services, Inc.


    1. Prepares operating budgets on an annual basis and maintain budget adjustments.
    2. Consult with management to ensure budget adjustments are made in accordance with program changes.
    3. Analyzes financial data and program performance compared to budgets.
    4. Examine budget estimates for completeness and accuracy.
    5. Presents budget analysis to management and program directors.
    6. Maintains relationship with other departments to obtain uniform data.
    7. Prepares financial reports as requested by management.
    8. Maintain the monthly Admin Analysis report and compare to operating budget.


    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
    • Two plus years of accounting/finance experience, preferably with some experience in the not-for-profit environment
    • Must have excellent mathematical abilities
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office
    • Evidence of the practice of high level of confidentiality
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
