When you apply for a community support position, you're choosing to make a difference in the lives of others. Sometimes you'll be an advocate for people with disabilities. Other times you'll serve behind the scenes as an ally, assisting with meal preparation, personal hygiene or leading a healthy lifestyle. You will help people build meaningful connections in their community.
A full-time schedule is 32 to 40 hours weekly and part-time is 6 to 30 hours. Available shifts include mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends.
We have positions throughout Livingston, Monroe, Ontario and Wayne counties.
Heritage Christian Services is a place to grow.
You don't need experience to work for people with disabilities. We provide all of your education and training. You may be a great fit for the community support staff position if you have a passion for helping others and want to make a difference.
Our Commitment to Equity and Justice
We believe that people are entitled to dignity, respect, equity and justice. We champion a society that removes barriers. We reject racism and discrimination of any kind. We protest systemic and political inequities that marginalize people, recognizing that there is a history of structural racism in the United States. We will continue to learn and change to achieve justice. We know that strength comes from unity. As you speak out, be strong, faithful and well.
