Join our therapeutic riding program and make an impact on people's lives. In this role you will be responsible for teaching riding lessons. You will also provide instruction and assist with horse care.

  • Teaches assigned lessons
  • Matches students, horses, volunteers prior to lesson
  • Maintains progress notes and attendance records for riders
  • Provide rider evaluation as request


Horse / Facility Care

  • Oversees preparation of horses for the lesson
  • Oversees post-lesson horse care including turn-out or closure of stables



  • Communicate with other staff as needed
  • Participate in all record keeping systems
  • Participate in special events as needed
  • Participate in routine horse and stable care




  • Minimum of a high school diploma; college degree preferred
  • PATH certification preferred or commensurate experience with willingness to complete PATH certification
  • Experience with horses and care of horses
  • Knowledge of operating farm equipment
  • Ability to positive interact with participants, volunteers, staff, and community at large
  • Ability to lift over 50 pounds
