Join our leading edge IT team! Heritage Christian Services is seeking candidates  for an IT Infrastructure Manager positon. In this role you will direct and design the agency’s overall information technology infrastructure. This includes managing the team responsible for maintaining the agency’s information technology infrastructure

Responsibilities

  1. Management of all HCS networking, servers, infrastructure services, and physical cabling.
  2. Manage the IT infrastructure staff, which includes overseeing the Help Desk functions.
  3. Assess, coordinate and review all issues and impacts associated with supported IT environment.
  4. Lead teams and projects to resolve complex technical system issues. Regularly communicate the infrastructure team’s focus to ensure alignment with improving the agency’s success.
  5. Protect and ensure the stability of the systems ,as well as work closely with the security team to maintain the integrity of the data the systems contain.
  6. Build strong monitoring and reporting systems to understand the health and status of the IT environment. Produce regular standard reports on the status of the infrastructure.
  7. Integration of applications with other systems used by Heritage Christian Services.
  8. Cloud-based solutions are part of the infrastructure toolkit. Leverage those solutions to deliver a competitive advantage for the agency.
  9. Assist in selecting the right technology to enable the Agency to move forward quickly and cost effectively.
  10. Share best practices and recommendations on maximizing system utilization and process efficiencies.
  11. Ensure that standards and procedures are in place for the work of the infrastructure team. This includes establishing, writing, and distributing governance and enforcing the governance that is established.
  12. Vendor management, including negotiating access agreements.
  13. Establishing service level agreements (SLAs) with vendors.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency with networking, servers, monitoring, reporting capabilities and Infrastructure software.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure products and services.
  • Vendor management.
  • Experience creating standards and procedures.
  • Established track record of managing a team.
  • Demonstrate solid written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience providing excellent customer service.
  • Project management experience.
  • Bachelor degree in Information Technology related field of study or equivalent work experience.
  • A valid New York State driver’s license that is in compliance with Heritage Christian Services, Inc. motor vehicle record standards.
