Heritage Christian Services is seeking applicants for an IT  Security Administrator position. In this role you will assist all Heritage Christian Services’ end-user with cybersecurity issues and best practices to help support the mission, vision and values of Heritage Christian Services.

  1. Receive security issues from internal employees and is the first-line end user point of contact to resolve security incidents.
  2. Provide initial support for any security incidents. Research and resolve incidents if possible. Engage IT Security Analyst and/or System/Network Administrators and/or management.
  3. Maintain and administration of Information Security systems and applications.
  4. Analyze scheduled vulnerability scans and work with infrastructure team to remediate vulnerabilities.
  5. Assist in the creation and review of Information Security Policies.
  6. Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the Information Security framework.
  7. Research current and ongoing security trends and news.
  8. Support the compliance of patch management procedures.
  9. Generate monthly vulnerability metrics.
  10. Conduct routine network and system security audits.


  • Ability to work with stakeholders to set expectations and work collaboratively with multiple levels of the agency to complete tasks
  • Possess familiarity and understanding of all current and changing aspects of our IT environment; Windows devices, Chromebooks, mobile devices, tablets, audio/visual equipment, printers, networking, and more
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • 3+ years of experience in one or more of the following Information Security domains:
    • Security Operations
    • Network Security
    • Identity and Access Management
    • Incident Response
    • Security Assessment and Testing
  • Experience with Active Directory and/or Azure Active Directory
  • Experience with Microsoft365/Azure Cloud services
  • Excellent customer services skills, reliable, and organized
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • BS in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field
  • Security+, CEH, GIAC, or other certifications preferred but not required
