Overview

The Director is responsible for the operations, staff supervision and business development of Eleversity, a community impact division of Heritage Christian Services. The Director will promote and support the mission, vision and values of Heritage Christian Services.

Responsibilities

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Operations:

  1. Hire and supervise Eleversity staff.
  2. Coordinate project operations to include: event scheduling, registration management and materials creation.
  3. Collaborate with Agency, collegiate, business and trade association partners at the regional, state and national level.
  4. Supervise provision of educational events as assigned by contracted work-plans.
  5. Meet deliverables as designated by funding partners.
  6. Manage curriculum design and development process.
  7. Oversee website and technological development and use.
  8. Actively pursue DEI learning to enhance and promote an inclusive work environment.
  9. The ability to conduct trainings as needed.

 

Fiscal/Project Management:

  1. Create project specific work plans as assigned by contracts and funding partners.
  2. Develop division and project annual budgets.
  3. Manage fiscal reporting to the Agency.
  4. Manage fiscal reporting to contract partners.
  5. Work in partnership with finance department.
  6. Maintain fiscal practices and contract compliance that demonstrates stewardship.
  7. Attend monthly, quarterly and annual project meetings as assigned by contract partners.
  8. Manage completion of project monthly, quarterly and annual reporting as required by contract partners.
  9. Manage the completion of project assigned deliverables.

Internal Collaboration:

  1. Provide consultation on Heritage Christian staff development and training as requested.
  2. Participate in Agency grant writing and funding development.
  3. Coordinate operations of Agency events as requested.
  4. Participate in Agency committees as designated.
  5. Collaborate with HCS departments to develop and distribute promotional materials

Strategic Development:

  1. Develop annual business plan that contributes to the bottom-line of Heritage Christian Services.
  2. Initiate division growth that’s in-line with the Agency’s strategic initiatives.
  3. Develop contracts, training agreements, consultation assignments and business proposals that promote on-going growth of Eleversity.

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Education, Rehabilitation Counseling or Human Resource Development preferred or Bachelor’s Degree in related field and 10 years of progressive experience in the staff development field
  • Demonstrates solid verbal and written skills
  • Demonstrated capacity to coordinate and facilitate training events
  • Project management experience
  • Proficient in curriculum development and materials production
  • Ability to manage multi-level staff
  • Ability to lift 30 pounds
  • Ability to travel throughout NYS (overnight required)
  • Ability to travel nationally as dictated by work-assignments
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Must possess valid NYS Driver’s License in compliance with Agency standards
