Overview

Heritage Christian Services supports people who choose to self-direct their services. Come join our growing team as a Fiscal Intermediary Representative. You will be responsible for providing support and guidance to individuals who self-direct their services through a self-directed budget and to self-directed staff.  They additionally will provide assistance to Fiscal Intermediary Coordinators as needed.  Responsibilities include active participation in the person-centered planning process and co-management of self-hire staff. 

 

Pay rate for this position:  Starting at $19 / hour

 

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above range represents the organization's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting

Responsibilities

  1. Meet/interview with individuals and families in order to educate them on self-directed services and the role of the Fiscal Intermediary
  2. Actively participate in Circle of Support (COS) and Life Plan meetings for assigned individuals; act as a backup resource for team members
  3. Ensure that Life Plans meet requirements for each billable service in an Individual’s self-directed plan.
  4. Maintain an electronic/hard copy record for each individual you are assigned to support
  5. Process self-hire job requisitions and job descriptions
  6. Complete training for new self-hire staff; inform staff when they are cleared to work; enroll/register self-hire staff for training as needed on going. Ensure completion of mandated annual in-servicing.
  7. Act as the primary contact for staff concerns and eVero assistance.
  8. Ensure Staff Action Plans and Safeguards are available in eVero and that the Broker has distributed them to the individual/COS
  9. Ensure monthly summaries are completed for those individuals requiring them.
  10. Review self-hire staff documentation and staff time in eVero on a regular basis. Address concerns and corrections as needed. 
  11. Review staff time in ADP to ensure times and rates have imported correctly from eVero.
  12. Monitor monthly expense reports for assigned individuals and address issues/concerns proactively with the individual, Fiscal Intermediary Coordinator, broker, service coordinator and members of the COS as appropriate.
  13. Read, understand and ensure compliance with relevant ADM’s including comm. hab, broker, respite, SEMP, FI etc.
  14. Review and approve staff reimbursement requests (mileage and staff activity fees).

Qualifications

  • Minimum of High School diploma or high school equivalency; college experience preferred
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Personable and energetic with positive attitude
  • Valid driver’s license that is in compliance with Heritage Christian Services’ motor vehicle record standards, and reliable transportation to and from work
