Overview

The Help Desk Technician will support all Heritage Christian Services employees, computer hardware and software, which supports the mission, vision and values of Heritage Christian Services, Inc.

 

Pay rate for this position:  $19.20  - $25.80 / hour

 

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above range represents the organization's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting

Responsibilities

  • Provide support for desktops, laptops, tablets, mobile devices, and their respective software.
  • Resolve computer hardware, software, internet, and web-based application issues.
  • Perform minor hardware repairs.
  • Imaging of computers with agency approved software and services.
  • Work with hardware vendors to resolve issues.
  • Mobile device setup (laptops, Chromebooks, tablets, smart phones.)
  • Printers and copiers support.
  • Utilize help desk ticketing system.
  • Provide remote and in-person support with provided tools as needed.
  • Follow up with end-user to ensure resolution.

Qualifications

  • Associates Degree or equivalent 3 to 5-year experience in an IT-related field.
  • Experience providing Windows desktop support.
  • Experience with remote support tools.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
  • Experience with Active Directory.
  • Reliable and organized.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Valid driver’s license that meets Heritage Christian motor vehicle standards.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
