Overview

Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget. They will develop project plans, utilizing Agile and Waterfall methodologies, collaborate with stakeholders, monitor progress, mitigate risks, and manage budgets while ensuring high-quality outcomes.

 

Pay rate for this position:  $74308 / year - $81378 - year

 

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above range represents the organization's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage cross-functional project teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including task assignments, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Utilize Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, to deliver projects and collaborate with development teams.
  • Manage projects using Waterfall methodologies, including creating comprehensive project documentation and coordinating sequential project phases.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and requirements.
  • Monitor and track project progress and performance using project management tools, with Teamwork and JIRA being the primary platforms.
  • Act as the “Application Lead” for Teamwork, used for Strategic and Departmental Goals
  • Responsible for carrying out teaching session on Teamwork
  • Assist Executives and Directors in assuring their projects are set up, as prescribed.
  • Assist Executives and Directors with managing their KPIs as it relates to Project Management
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members, ensuring everyone is informed and aligned with project goals.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Conduct regular project status meetings and provide reports to key stakeholders.
  • May manage project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking, and reporting.
  • Ensure the successful delivery of project outcomes while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification strongly preferred
  • Proven experience in project management, with a strong focus on Agile methodologies and a solid understanding of Waterfall approaches.
  • Proficiency in using JIRA for project management and familiarity with other project management software.
  • Experience with Teamwork is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Bachelor's degree required with 3 years of related experience.
