The Fiscal Intermediary Coordinator is responsible for providing support and guidance to individuals who self direct their services through a self directed budget. Responsibilities include active participation in the person centered planning process and oversight of the self directed budget once approved. Personal Assistants will competently and safely perform the personal care tasks, home health aide tasks and skilled nursing tasks that are included on the consumer's plan of care under the instruction, supervision and direction of the consumer or the consumer's designated representative.

The Self Hire Community Support Staff position is a customized role created by an individual and their circle of support. Heritage Christian Services is acting as the Fiscal Intermediary for the individual's service plan.
Similar to other direct support roles, a Self Hire Community Support Staff assists people to connect through meaningful relationships and experiences in order to discover and navigate what matters most to them. Support is provided to people who live with a caregiver or on their own, alone or with housemates. Shifts may be just a few hours or full days and evenings, depending on the needs, and may occur in people’s homes or in the community.
